Our range includes delicious artisan Taralli, Tarallini, Almond Bread and Biscottini, lovingly crafted using quality ingredients, including locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. We’re passionate about creating biscuits that are full of flavour, freshness and goodness.
Our products are oven-baked and made without any artificial colours, flavourings, colourings, preservatives or additives, so you can enjoy every delicious bite without the guilt!

where it all started...
For over 50 years, founders John and Anna Viscione have been at the heart of Continental Taralli Biscuits. What began as a humble home bakery has grown into a proudly family-owned South Australian business, with food, family and tradition at the heart of everything they do.
The story began in the late 1960s when John migrated to South Australia from San Martino in southern Italy, bringing with him the recipes, skills and traditions passed down through generations of his family.
From his home in Magill, John began baking bread and Taralli for friends, family and the local community in a handmade wood-fired oven. These humble beginnings marked the start of what would become a family business spanning more than five decades.
John’s passion for baking began much earlier. From the age of just six, his father taught him the traditional art of making biscuits in their hometown of San Martino. The recipes and techniques he learned as a child have remained with him throughout his life, with some of these treasured family recipes dating back to the early 1900s.
Today, 82 years of age, John continues to bake using these traditional recipes, working alongside Anna to carry their family’s passion and heritage forward.
And after more than 50 years, some things haven’t changed. You’ll still find John and Anna working together in the early hours of the morning, making sure every biscuit is baked to perfection for families to enjoy.
For John and Anna, it has always been about family — bringing people together through good food, treasured traditions and a love of baking.

Today, the family tradition continues, with three generations of the Viscione family involved in the business. John and Anna’s children and grandchildren share the same passion for food, family and quality, helping carry forward the values and traditions that have been at the heart of the business since the very beginning.
While the business has grown significantly over the past 50 years, one thing has never changed — our commitment to making biscuits the traditional way and never compromising on quality. The recipes, techniques and passion passed down through the generations remain an important part of everything we do.
By combining the traditional Viscione baking methods with modern technology and production techniques, the family has been able to grow the business while staying true to its roots. This balance of old and new allows us to continue creating a diverse range of delicious, flavoursome products, made with the same care and attention that John brought to his first batches of Taralli all those years ago.
